1. Purpose of This Policy

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd provides a platform through Laserprints.co.uk where approved second-hand printing machinery and associated equipment can be advertised for sale.

The 2nd Hand Machinery service is intended to connect sellers of suitable used machinery with prospective buyers looking for DTF, UV, UV-DTF, Sublimation and related printing equipment.

Unless specifically stated otherwise within an individual listing, Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd is acting as an advertising and introduction platform only and is not the owner or seller of the machinery being advertised.

The contract for the purchase and sale of third-party machinery is made directly between the seller and buyer.

By submitting machinery for advertisement through Laserprints.co.uk, the seller agrees to this policy, including the 10% sales commission detailed below.

2. Machine Approval Process

Submission of machinery through the Laserprints.co.uk website does not guarantee that the machine will be accepted or advertised.

All machinery must go through an approval process before a listing is published.

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd may review:

• Machine make and model.

• Machine type and specification.

• Current operating condition.

• Printhead configuration.

• Photographs supplied.

• Asking price.

• Machine history where available.

• Known faults or defects.

• Whether the machine is currently in production.

• Whether the machine has been correctly prepared for storage.

• Any other information considered relevant to the proposed listing.

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd may contact the seller for additional photographs, videos, sample prints, nozzle tests, serial numbers or other information before approving a listing.

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd reserves the right to refuse any machine for advertising without being required to publish the listing.

3. Acceptable Machine Condition

Machinery submitted for advertising must fall into one of the following two categories.

A. Production-Ready Machinery

A machine advertised as operational or production-ready must:

• Be in a good overall mechanical and electrical condition.

• Be capable of normal machine operation.

• Be capable of producing acceptable output appropriate to the type and age of the machine.

• Have all significant known faults or defects disclosed.

• Have its condition represented accurately.

• Be reasonably safe for its intended use.

Where reasonably possible, sellers should be able to provide evidence of operation such as:

• Current nozzle tests.

• Printed samples.

• Photographs.

• Videos of the machine operating.

• Machine status information.

A machine must not be described as production-ready where the seller knows that significant repair or recommissioning is required.

B. Flushed / Storage-Mode Machinery

Machinery that is no longer operating with ink may still be considered for advertising provided that it has been appropriately decommissioned and placed into storage condition.

Where applicable, this should include:

• Ink being removed from the machine.

• Ink delivery systems being appropriately flushed.

• Ink lines being flushed or preserved.

• Dampers and fluid pathways being appropriately prepared.

• Printheads being flushed or otherwise prepared for storage.

• The machine being placed into an appropriate storage or preservation condition.

The listing must clearly state that the machine is flushed, stored or requires recommissioning before returning to production.

A flushed machine must not be advertised as currently production-ready unless it has subsequently been recommissioned and tested.

Any known components requiring replacement before recommissioning must be declared.

4. Information Provided by the Seller

The seller is responsible for ensuring that all information supplied to Laserprints.co.uk is accurate to the best of their knowledge.

This includes:

• Machine manufacturer.

• Model.

• Age where known.

• Printhead type.

• Number of printheads.

• Ink configuration.

• Machine dimensions where supplied.

• Current machine condition.

• Current printhead condition.

• Known faults.

• Missing components.

• Modifications.

• Software included.

• RIP software included.

• Computers or control equipment included.

• Accessories included.

• Maintenance history where stated.

• Asking price.

• Location of the machine.

• Photographs and videos.

The seller must disclose any significant fault or issue they are aware of that could reasonably affect a buyer's purchasing decision.

The seller must not deliberately conceal faults, damage or operational problems.

5. Photographs and Advertising Material

Photographs submitted for an advertisement should show the actual machine being offered for sale.

By submitting photographs, videos, descriptions and other material to Laserprints.co.uk, the seller gives Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd permission to use that material for the purpose of:

• Creating the machine listing.

• Advertising the machine on Laserprints.co.uk.

• Promoting the listing through Laserprints.co.uk social media channels.

• Responding to enquiries concerning the machine.

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd may edit or format submitted information to produce a consistent listing while taking reasonable care not to materially alter the information provided by the seller.

6. Seller Responsibilities

The seller remains responsible for the machinery throughout the advertising and sale process.

The seller is responsible for:

• Having legal ownership of or authority to sell the machinery.

• Providing accurate information.

• Declaring known faults or defects.

• Providing genuine photographs.

• Responding accurately to prospective buyer questions.

• Agreeing the final selling price.

• Arranging payment with the buyer.

• Agreeing collection or delivery.

• Preparing the machine for transportation.

• Providing any warranty or guarantee they choose or are legally required to provide.

• Meeting any legal obligations applicable to them.

• Notifying Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd when the machine has been sold.

The seller must immediately notify Laserprints.co.uk if the machine becomes unavailable, develops a significant fault or materially changes condition while being advertised.

7. Buyer Responsibilities

Prospective buyers are responsible for carrying out their own checks before purchasing machinery.

Laserprints.co.uk strongly recommends that buyers inspect machinery before completing a purchase wherever practical.

Buyers should consider requesting:

• A machine inspection.

• A live demonstration.

• Current nozzle tests.

• Current sample prints.

• Videos of machine operation.

• Confirmation of printhead condition.

• Confirmation of software and licences included.

• Confirmation of machine serial numbers.

• Confirmation of accessories included.

• Details of known faults.

• Details of maintenance or repair history where available.

The buyer is responsible for determining whether the machine is suitable for their intended application.

Second-hand printing machinery may require servicing, calibration, alignment, maintenance or recommissioning following transportation or installation.

8. Advertised and Final Selling Prices

The seller determines the initial asking price submitted for the machine.

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd may discuss the proposed asking price with the seller before accepting a listing but does not guarantee any particular valuation or sale price.

The seller and buyer remain free to negotiate the final selling price.

The seller must inform Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd of the actual final agreed sale price where a sale results from a Laserprints.co.uk listing or introduction.

9. 10% Sales Commission

There is no charge for submitting a machine to Laserprints.co.uk for consideration unless separately agreed.

Where machinery advertised through Laserprints.co.uk is successfully sold as a result of the advertisement, enquiry, introduction or exposure generated through Laserprints.co.uk, Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd will charge the seller a commission equal to 10% of the final agreed sale price of the machine.

The commission is payable by the seller.

For example:

Final machine sale price: £5,000

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd commission at 10%: £500

VAT will be added to the commission where legally applicable.

The commission becomes due where the purchaser was originally introduced to the machinery through Laserprints.co.uk, regardless of the method subsequently used to complete the transaction.

This includes sales completed through:

• The Laserprints.co.uk website.

• Telephone.

• Email.

• WhatsApp.

• Social media.

• Bank transfer.

• Cash.

• Finance.

• Direct communication between the seller and buyer.

• Any other payment or communication method.

The seller must notify Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd promptly once an agreed sale has taken place.

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd may issue an invoice to the seller for the applicable commission following confirmation of the sale.

Payment must be made in accordance with the payment terms stated on the invoice.

10. Introduced Buyers and Commission Avoidance

A seller must not attempt to avoid the applicable commission by dealing privately with a buyer who was originally introduced through the Laserprints.co.uk advertisement.

This includes:

• Removing the listing before completing the transaction.

• Asking a buyer to contact them privately to avoid the commission.

• Completing payment outside Laserprints.co.uk.

• Reducing the declared selling price while accepting additional undeclared payment.

• Relisting or privately selling the same machine to a previously introduced buyer.

• Using another person, company or business to complete the transaction on their behalf.

Where a buyer first became aware of, enquired about or was introduced to the machine through Laserprints.co.uk and subsequently purchases that machine from the seller, the 10% commission remains payable.

The purpose of this provision is to protect the advertising and introduction service provided by Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd.

11. Seller Notification Following Sale

The seller must notify Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd when:

• A sale has been agreed.

• A deposit has been accepted.

• The machine has been reserved pending payment.

• The machine has been collected.

• The machine is no longer available for sale.

The seller must provide the final agreed machine sale price where required for calculation of the applicable commission.

Once Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd has been notified of the sale, the advertisement may be marked as sold or removed from the website.

12. Payments Between Buyer and Seller

Unless specifically stated otherwise, payment for third-party machinery is made directly between the buyer and seller.

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd is not responsible for administering the purchase funds between the parties unless a separate arrangement has been expressly agreed.

Buyers and sellers are responsible for ensuring that they are satisfied with the identity and legitimacy of the other party before transferring machinery or funds.

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd accepts no responsibility for disputes concerning:

• Deposits.

• Purchase payments.

• Finance agreements.

• Refunds.

• Failed payments.

• Chargebacks.

• Fraudulent payments.

• Ownership disputes.

• Collection arrangements.

The 10% Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd commission is a separate charge payable by the seller for the advertising and introduction service.

13. Inspection by Laserprints.co.uk

A machine being advertised on Laserprints.co.uk should not automatically be interpreted as having been inspected, serviced or approved mechanically by a Laserprints.co.uk engineer.

Where Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd has personally inspected, repaired, serviced or commissioned a machine, the listing may state this where appropriate.

Any inspection or service relates only to the condition of the machine at the time that work was carried out.

Machinery condition can subsequently change due to:

• Continued production.

• Lack of use.

• Storage.

• Ink condition.

• Environmental conditions.

• Transportation.

• Maintenance.

• Modification.

• Component wear.

• Printhead deterioration.

A previous service or inspection by Laserprints.co.uk therefore does not constitute an indefinite warranty or guarantee.

14. Printheads and Ink Delivery Components

Printing equipment contains components whose performance and remaining service life can vary considerably.

These may include:

• Printheads.

• Dampers.

• Cap tops.

• Pumps.

• Filters.

• Ink lines.

• White ink circulation systems.

• Wiper systems.

• UV lamps.

• Motors.

• Encoders.

• Electronic boards.

Unless expressly stated within an individual listing, no guarantee should be assumed regarding the remaining service life of these components.

A successful nozzle test or demonstration before sale does not guarantee identical printhead performance after:

• Transportation.

• Storage.

• Installation.

• Recommissioning.

• Ink changes.

• Environmental changes.

Buyers should therefore carry out appropriate checks before purchase.

15. Transportation, Collection and Installation

Unless separately contracted to provide these services, Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd is not responsible for:

• Machine dismantling.

• Loading.

• Packaging.

• Transportation.

• Courier services.

• Unloading.

• Installation.

• Recommissioning.

• Calibration following transportation.

Printing machinery may require recalibration, alignment or maintenance after being transported.

Buyer and seller should agree between themselves who is responsible for collection, delivery, packaging and associated costs before completing the transaction.

16. Warranty

Any warranty provided with third-party machinery is the responsibility of the seller unless Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

A machine being advertised through Laserprints.co.uk does not mean that Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd is providing a warranty.

Buyers should establish directly with the seller before purchase whether:

• A warranty is provided.

• The machine is sold without a warranty.

• Any return arrangement exists.

• Technical support is included.

• Installation is included.

• Training is included.

Where Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd is directly selling machinery owned by the company, separate warranty or sale terms may apply and will be identified accordingly.

17. Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd's Role

For third-party machinery, Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd acts as an advertising and introduction platform.

Acceptance of a machine for advertising does not constitute:

• Certification of the machinery.

• A full mechanical inspection.

• A full electrical inspection.

• An independent valuation.

• A guarantee of condition.

• A guarantee of print quality.

• A warranty.

• A guarantee of remaining printhead life.

• Verification of every statement supplied by the seller.

• A guarantee that the machine will sell.

• A guarantee that the seller or buyer will complete the transaction.

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd may review information supplied for a listing but is not responsible for independently verifying every representation made by a seller.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd will not be liable for losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or connected with a transaction between a third-party seller and buyer introduced through Laserprints.co.uk.

This includes, without limitation:

• Machine failure.

• Printhead failure.

• Electrical failure.

• Mechanical failure.

• Ink system problems.

• Incorrect calibration.

• Lost production.

• Loss of profits.

• Business interruption.

• Transportation damage.

• Installation problems.

• Software problems.

• Undisclosed defects.

• Incorrect seller descriptions.

• Disputes over machine condition.

• Disputes concerning ownership.

• Payment disputes.

• Collection or delivery disputes.

• Buyer or seller actions.

The seller remains responsible for the accuracy of information supplied about their machinery.

The buyer remains responsible for satisfying themselves that the machine and transaction are suitable before completing the purchase.

Nothing within this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any liability, statutory right or legal obligation which cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

19. Right to Refuse, Suspend or Remove Listings

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd reserves the right to refuse, suspend, amend or remove an advertisement where reasonably considered necessary.

This may include circumstances where:

• The machine does not meet the required condition.

• Information appears inaccurate.

• Information appears misleading.

• Significant faults have not been disclosed.

• The machine appears unsafe.

• Ownership is disputed.

• The seller fails to respond to reasonable requests for information.

• The machine has already been sold.

• The seller attempts to circumvent the applicable commission.

• The listing could negatively affect the integrity of the Laserprints.co.uk marketplace.

• The machine is considered unsuitable for the platform.

There is no automatic entitlement for machinery to be advertised through Laserprints.co.uk.

20. Machinery Sold Directly by Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd

From time to time, Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd may advertise machinery that it owns and is selling directly.

Where this is the case, the individual listing will clearly identify Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd as the seller.

Such sales are separate from third-party advertising arrangements and may be subject to:

• Separate terms of sale.

• Separate warranty provisions.

• Applicable statutory rights.

• Specific machine conditions stated within the listing.

The 10% seller commission does not apply where Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd itself owns the machinery being sold.

21. Changes in Machine Condition

The seller must inform Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd if the condition of an advertised machine materially changes.

For example, if a machine advertised as production-ready subsequently develops:

• Printhead failure.

• Electrical failure.

• Mechanical failure.

• Ink delivery problems.

• Software problems.

• Damage.

• Any other significant defect.

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd may amend, suspend or remove the listing until the current condition can be accurately represented.

22. Acceptance of This Policy

By submitting machinery to Laserprints.co.uk for advertising, the seller confirms that:

• They have read and accepted this 2nd Hand Machinery Advertising & Sales Policy.

• They have authority to sell the machinery.

• Information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge.

• Significant known faults have been disclosed.

• Photographs supplied genuinely represent the machine.

• The machine meets the required production-ready or storage-mode criteria.

• They understand that all machines are subject to approval before being advertised.

• They understand that Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd does not guarantee that their machine will be approved or sold.

• They agree to notify Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd when the machine is sold or becomes unavailable.

• They agree to declare the genuine final sale price.

• They agree that a 10% commission is payable to Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd where the machine is sold to a buyer generated or introduced through Laserprints.co.uk.

• They agree not to attempt to circumvent the applicable commission by completing a transaction privately with a buyer introduced through Laserprints.co.uk.

Submission of the advertising form constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of this policy.

23. Governing Terms

This policy forms part of the terms governing the Laserprints.co.uk 2nd Hand Machinery advertising service.

Laserprintsuk.co.uk Ltd reserves the right to update or amend this policy from time to time.

The version applicable to a seller will be the version in force when their machinery is submitted for advertising, unless changes are required by law or subsequently agreed.
